I agree that we need to teach our children to get out more...to watch less TV and play less video games. I have such fond memories of growing up. There was a whole gang of neighborhood kids and we played outside every single day. We explored forests and built our own little empires. True learning comes from active experiencing and I think the best way to do this is to get out there and try new things. Use your imagination and treat life as your science lab. As far as consumption goes....I'll be the first to admit that I need to get better at this. As part of my growing process I really want to start challenging my consumption habits. Start watching less TV. Read more. Get outside into nature more and really experience life.
