Top 5 ways not to be a loser

by Jeb

loser1. Avoid telling people “dude, we need to get together” every time you run into them by chance, and then never call them to  make good.
2. Don’t change your public face based on who you’re with.

3. Stop thinking I ought to be impressed with you and try having a sincere conversation with me.

4. Leave the bells and whistles at home.

5. Always be thinking Karma.

Because at the end of the day, if your words, actions or behaviors demean people, you’re a loser.

Hi John,
Yes and no. I mean, there is someone specific that much of this applies to, but the bigger issue for me is this…In my efforts to explore the thoughts/feelings/etc that make up this blog, and to successfully navigate the perilous task of raising children, I’ve discovered (well, I already knew it, but the point is being driven home) that self-esteem is of critical importance. So I find myself growing increasingly impatient with people who’s actions serve to belittle others (even if unintentionally).

Relationships help us define ourselves…no sense spending time in those that dont serve that purpose in a positive way. Losers beware. :)
